The Smeg 50’s Retro style ECF01BLUK coffee machine adds a splash of colour to your kitchen while at the same time making a mean cup of coffee. The attractive black housing with stainless steel filter holder, frame and cup tray make it a statement piece.

At just 15 cm wide, the ECF01BLUK is one of the slimmest machines on the market. It can fit into even the smallest of kitchens, with no need to pack it away after every use. The detachable 1-litre water reservoir can be removed for filling or filled in place via the lift up lid. On the top of the machine is a cup-warming surface that’s large enough for two cups

The ECF01 uses Thermoblock technology which gets up to operating temperature super-quick. After turning the machine on, the lights on its buttons only flash for a matter of seconds before steadying to signify the ECF01 is ready for action. Equally as quick is the Steam wand, just press the steam button, and a few seconds later you’re ready to swing the nozzle into a milk-filled metal container giving you hot frothed the milk using 15 bar of pressure. There is a removable drip tray that’s easy to clean and can be left off if you want to use taller cups and mugs and a de-calc alarm that will let you know when the machine’s in need of a clean to keep it running optimally.
