Flavel

Flavel is a venerable British appliance brand whose roots stretch all the way back to 1777, when John Flavel acquired an iron foundry in Bilton near Rugby. Originally famed for its cast‑iron “Patent Kitchener” range cooker the brand evolved through the 19th and early 20th centuries, producing everything from gas cookers and water heaters to ornamental fireplaces. Following a series of ownership changes—including incorporation in 1902 and a Glynwed takeover—Flavel was acquired by Beko in 2002. Today, its products are designed and manufactured in the UK, primarily at a state‑of‑the‑art facility in Stoke‑on‑Trent operated by BFM Europe, and encompass freestanding and built‑in cookers, ovens, hobs, gas and electric fires, and multifuel stoves.
