Lenco

Lenco

Lenco is a consumer electronics brand that originated in 1946 when Swiss couple Fritz and Marie Laeng founded Lenco AG in Burgdorf, Switzerland—initially manufacturing household goods before producing their first turntables in 1949. The company grew internationally during the 1950s–70s, exporting to over 80 countries, but faced bankruptcy in 1977. Since the late 1990s, the Lenco trademark has belonged to Dutch firm Commaxx International NV, headquartered in Nuth, Netherlands. Today, Lenco’s modern products—designed to echo its heritage—include vinyl record players, internet and DAB+ radios, Bluetooth speakers, DVD players, and multi-room audio systems, all crafted to balance nostalgia, user-friendliness, and affordability
