Do Air Filters Really Work? Air purifiers can significantly reduce 99.97% of particles in the air using True HEPA filters and carbon filters. They can remove things like Dust, Smoke, Pollen, Pet Hair, Dander, Volatile organic compounds (VOCs), Cooking smells and chemicals like Formaldehyde depending on the model. All these allergens can affect yours and your family’s health especially if anyone is susceptible to asthma.
