Indesit

Indesit Company is a well-known Italian home appliances manufacturer headquartered in Fabriano, Marche. It traces its origins back to 1975 when Vittorio Merloni spun off Merloni Elettrodomestici from Industrie Merloni; in 2005, this entity adopted the name “Indesit” after acquiring the Torino‑founded Indes brand in 1987. Today, Indesit produces a wide range of kitchen and laundry appliances—including washing machines, dryers, dishwashers, refrigerators, freezers, ovens, hobs, cookers, and extractor hoods and is considered one of Europe’s leading budget-friendly brands . Its manufacturing footprint spans eight industrial sites in Italy (Le Marche, Campania, Piemonte, Veneto, Lombardy), as well as facilities in Poland, the UK, Russia, and Turkey.
