While Upright vacuum cleaners are generally heavier than cylinder vacuum cleaners they have many advantages especially when hovering carpets. Upright vacuum cleaners have a motorized brush that agitates the carpet lifting the dirt and hair as it suck. Most cylinders will push the hair back and forth on the carpet until if forms a ball . Upright Vacuum cleaners also require less bending over and are therefore easier on your back. The lastest fad in vacuum cleaners are the cordless stick cleaners and the best one on trhe market are the Bosch Athlet range with their long run times excellent pick uo and bagless design.
